Football, from Sunday league to five-a-side
Updated August 2026
The match is the easy part — someone always shows up for the match. Fouz covers the rest: the training between games, the streak that proves it, and a pickup game when your regular kickabout falls through.
Log the match, score and all
Pick football, enter the score — your side first, 4-2 means you won — plus duration, distance covered if you track it, and calories. Save, collect 20 XP, and the win lands in your history and on your share card, photo and all.
Find a game when you're short of players
Pickup games list football matches near you — urgent ones starting within two hours float to the top. Open games are joined in one tap; approval games let the organiser pick. Hosting takes a minute: pitch, time, spots, and whether you're playing or just organising. Played it? Fouz prompts you to log it, with the sport and duration pre-filled — that's 15 XP for the game on top of the log.
A squad that notices
Follow your teammates, cheer their sessions, and filter the leaderboard to just people you follow — suddenly Tuesday-night training has a table. Frequency goals (train twice a week) and streak goals keep the off-season honest.
Football questions
Does five-a-side count, or only full matches?
Any football counts — five-a-side, futsal, eleven-a-side, training sessions. Log the format you played with its duration and score.
Can I organise our weekly game in Fouz?
Yes — create a game with the pitch, time and spots needed. Each week's game is created fresh (about a minute), and you can invite the same squad directly every time.
Does Fouz measure distance covered with GPS?
No — if your watch tells you the distance, enter it; otherwise duration and score are plenty. Fouz is about showing up, not heat maps.
Can I just organise without playing?
Yes — hosts can mark themselves as not playing, which keeps their spot open for someone else.
