Who we are
Fouz is a gamified fitness-social app operated by Wenear Service, N° 23, Bloc 12, Quartier Amouni, Safi, Morocco. Wenear Service is the data controller for the personal data described below. You can reach us at yassine@ennaim.dev with any privacy question.
Data we collect
Account information (email address, display name and avatar, provided through Google or Apple sign-in); the workouts and goals you log; the posts, photos, captions and comments you share; social interactions such as follows, likes and reactions; your approximate or precise location only when you choose to tag an activity with a place or browse games nearby (while-using-the-app permission); purchase status for the optional Founder's Pass (payment itself is processed by Apple or Google — we never see your card details); and basic device/usage data (app version, device type, language, product analytics, push notification token if you enable notifications, and crash and performance diagnostics).
How we use it
We use your data to run the app, compute XP, levels, streaks and badges from the activity you log, show your progress to friends you connect with, send push notifications you opt into, keep the community safe through automated and human content moderation, and improve the product. We do not sell your data and we do not show third-party advertising.
Processors
We use Supabase for our database, authentication and file storage; Google and Apple for sign-in, and Google Maps/Places for maps and place search; Expo for push notification delivery; PostHog for product analytics; Sentry for crash reporting; RevenueCat for purchase management; and OpenAI for automated content moderation of shared posts. The website is hosted on Vercel. These providers act as data processors on our behalf under their own security and confidentiality commitments.
Data sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share data only with the processors above, as required to operate the service, or where required by law.
Retention
We keep your account and activity data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data as described on the Account & Data Deletion page.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your personal data. You can request any of these at yassine@ennaim.dev, and we will honor them subject to applicable data-protection law, including Moroccan Law No. 09-08.
Children
Fouz is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). See our Child Safety Standards page for how we handle reports involving minors.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the date above when we do, and post material changes on this page.
